are held the 2nd & 4th Wednesday of each month at 7:30 pm at the

Bloom Township Administrative Office at 8490 Lithopolis Road, (Greencastle)

Carroll OH 43112.

The Bloom Twp. Board of Trustees will move its meeting up by 1/2 hour to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 10, 2008 and will change the date of the Dec. 24 meeting to Tuesday, December 30, at 7:00 p.m. Both meetings will take place at 8490 Lithopolis Road in Greencastle.

Reminder: Insight Cable Customers: Check your Cable TV Bill where it says Franchise Fee. It should not have increased. A couple of customers have informed us their fee increased because it was being paid to a different township. If your bill is not accurate, please call Insight at (614) 236-1200.

Rock Mill Bridge was originally built in 1849 in Queenpost style, a second bridge was built in 1880 and the current span in 1904 with many repairs due to damage by trucks. It crosses the upper falls 30 feet above the Hocking River's origin. It is the smallest covered bridge in Fairfield County being only 33' in length. A grant has been received to turn the bridge and the area around it into a park with construction beginning sometime in 2002.
