Their responsibilities includes ice and snow removal, maintenance of culverts and ditches, roadside mowing, maintenance of cemetery drives, removal of trees and brush in township right of way and repair and paving of township roads.  

Open drainage ditches are standard for Bloom Township roads. Anyone who wishes to eliminate the ditch by installing underground piping must obtain a permit from the Road Supervisor.
